Morse code has been given a tangible three dimensional form. ‘Oh, It’s Just a Pattern’ is the literal translation of what has been encoded into the patterned structure of this neck piece. The reading of its self-referential name creates a conversational game that dissects the material nature of language.

Something, Something Else, and Nothing
Something, something else, and nothing relates to the components of Morse code: dot, dash, space. This projects aim was to play with Morse code using component parts of other physical objects: washers, electrical wire, beads, and rubber and nylon stoppers. To experiment with making these sometimes ugly materials work together with those automatically luscious beads. And to continue using Morse code almost as an equation for making three dimentional things.
